Reviews were correct - BEST sushi in Charlottetown! 😄🤩🍣🍤 Very friendly and attentive staff only added to the experience. Will visit again, for sure.

First meal I had in Charlottetown. The rolls were tasty and were pretty big. Service was very fast and the tables were very clean. They had a button which you pressed to ring for the Waitress, found that very useful.

Came here on a whim guided by google local guides ofcourse and glad that we did. We ordered a sushi sashimi boat and the fish was fresh and tasty. Less rice, more fish is always a good sign of a quality place. Seems to be run by Koreans but they employ other Asians as well. Good service that was pleasant but not overbearing. Casual unpretentious place perfect for a preshow or after show meal. A minute's walk away from CCOA.

Great lunch place (probably dinner too). Good variety, reasonably priced, lovely presentation. I wiĺl be back again and again.

How can sushi of this level be rated 5 stars? I've had better sushi in the middle of Africa. Quality is horrible. Salmon is supposed to "melt" in your mouth. It is not meant to be chewed as if it were a piece of well done steak. Waitress knowledge is next to nothing. Only "good" thing about the place was the music and the Sapporo which they can't even take credit for.

Honestly one of the best places I've been in a while. Wait time is a huge factor for me when it come to lunches, and the service here was really kind and fast, despite the somewhat busy time of day. The food was also great and the lunch special was very reasonably priced. I'm not actually a huge seafood fan, but they have a diverse menu so I have many options when others want sushi.

One of our favourite places to go for japanese and korean cuisine. They also do a custom roll for me that reminds me of home and i wish it was on their menu! Lol. Uploaded a photo. Great service great food. Definitly recommend.

This restaurant is supposed to be a fusion of Japanese and Korean dishes; however, they simply failed to deliver. I have moderate standards and would never compare this to other more authentic Japanese/Korean restaurants. I loved how they had a call bell, which we actually needed to use multiple times as they kept forgetting things that we ordered before it became crazy busy. Green tea could have been served first but they forgot about that. The bibimbab that I have photographed below is a poor excuse of a dish. It’s basically just fried rice with an egg. LOTS of lettuce and a few strands of beef that were meh. The salmon sashimi were fresh and were great. Bottom line, if this is the best sushi place in PEI, then I feel sad for the people who live here.

I wanted to have some nice Asian food after eating all the great western seafood. I should have dropped the cravings. It was far from the expectation.

Extremely fresh seafood makes a world of difference. Some of the flavours of cooked items wasn't as good as 5 stars and the place looked dated and smelled a bit moldy but the seafood more than makes up for it.

I highly recommend Ta-Ke Sushi. The customer service is excellent, the prices are great the portions are perfect. Went there for my birthday and they gave me a fried rice patty thing, it was delicious!

A small quite place to dine, with a large high quality selection. It's secretly the best sushi in Charlottetown, so naturally everyone knows. You may want to make a reservation.

Best sushi on PEI, hands down. The platters and boats are huge. The specialty rolls are large and beautifully presented. The service is excellent with thoughtfulness and responsiveness is highly appreciated. The idea of ringing a bell to summon the staff is a little odd at first, but it is a wonderful system. My go-to place for sushi.

The soup is a bit of ingredients boiled to a certain limit, as it is possible that a little boiled water can cost so much money.And that is what is happening in this place,I know how to make a soup, a seafood soup, a chicken soup, which can cost three times what it costs in this place. If I'm hurting with my comment, improve the prices and quality.Please.

Not bad. Fresh sushi and fish. Worth to try.

Great service. Waitress was very attentive and organized. Average sushi quality which was disappointing given we are a block from the ocean. Good prices versus other provinces. Tempura was light and crispy. Sashimi was inconsistent. Salmon was very good, but tuna was tough, other pieces of fish were too cold (almost frozen), which inhibited flavours, some pieces were tiny. Soya sauce bottles said “light sodium” which made for an odd flavoured soya sauce for dipping. Stick with the good (regular sushi soya sauce) would be a recommendation. Lose the parsley garnish, doesn’t belong on this dish.

Staff was amazing and the sushi was great. My only comment for improvement is the sushi rice. Felt a bit stale and not fresh. Everything would’ve been perfect if the rice was fresh. Nevertheless, we enjoy the rolls and the sashimi and everting was fresh and reasonably priced. Recommended for sushi lovers in Charlottetown.

Went for dinner with my son the other night and wasn't impressed at all. My son had his usual rolls and tobiko nigiri sushi and tempura. The rolls were on the expensive side and the rest was okay, pretty had to mess up.Then comes my udon and I will tell you all of the things wrong with it. I ordered the nabe udon, the soup was weak and hardly had any flavour, the chicken was chopped into very small strips and were very dry, the shrimp were chewy and no veggies other than cabbage...who puts cabbage in udon!!!???I would not recommend this restaurant for good Japanese food.

Absolutely delicious. Super fresh ingredients, great portion sizes, and friendly service. Super cozy atmosphere too! California rolls on the left, spicy tuna rolls on the right. Both fantastic.

The lobster maki was a big miss, since the Surimi that was added masked the sweet taste of the main ingredient, and made it an expensive California roll. The Chirashi did not have any special morcels, as the tuna, tilapia, and tamago were flavorless, although the salmon was good, it was not enough to save the dish. I was surprise that given the availability of fresh seafood, it was not reflected well in the menu.

Service is always fast and friendly, the meals are always a delicacy, one of the best sushi places in town with a smaller peaceful atmosphere.

Everything has been amazingly fresh and delicious whenever I've stopped in. They're very friendly and there is a cozy atmosphere.

Spring rolls, chicken fried noodle and teriyaki beef were all awesome!
